Plastic Surgery
Aging of the face is inevitable. If you are bothered by "bags", wrinkles. or drooping around your eyes or other parts of your face, please discuss these problems with our staff. Our skilled plastic surgeon is trained in both eye and facial plastic surgery. She uses the latest small-incision endoscopic and laser techniques to perform facelifts, brow lifts, and other fine cosmetic procedures. Chemical or laser skin resurfacing (peels) and Botox injections are available to help smooth the skin surface.
COSMETIC PROCEDURES. . .
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty): Corrects the appearance of drooping sagging eyelids, removes fatty pouches beneath the eyes and removes excess skin from the upper eyelids.
Eyebrow Lift: Restores normal position of eyebrows and decreases forehead wrinkles (done through small incision using endoscopy).
Facelift/Mid-Facelift (Rhytidectomy): Provides an overall lift to the lower two-thirds of your face, tightening loose skin in the jowls, neck, and jaw line. The skin is lifted outward and the underlying muscles and tissue are tightened and repositioned. In addition, excess skin and fat may be removed.
Laser Skin Resurfacing/Chemical Peel: Utilizes the pinpoint accuracy of advanced carbon dioxide lasers to repair the damging effects of the sun, wind and passage of time. The energy beam heats and vaporizes the effected tissue instantaneously, gently removing the damaged outer layers. Fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed, deep creases and frown lines softened, and acne scars can be minimized. These lasers can also be used to treat a myriad of other skin conditions.
Botox® Injections: Used in a procedure called Cosmetic Denervation. This procedure focuses on eliminating dynamic wrinkles, such as worry, frown and laugh lines, as well as crow’s feet. Using a tiny micro-needle, a minimal amount of Botox is injected into locations on the face, blocking nerve impulses to the tiny facial muscles which cause expression lines. The muscles relax and the wrinkles clear. Botox injections have been used safely for over ten years.
Surgery
Most of our surgery is done either in our office or in a nearby surgical center. We utilize the latest in lasers, ultrasound, and other sophisticated diagnostic and surgical instruments. Our surgeons have years of experience and have performed thousands of cases. Most of the procedures we perform, including no-stitch cataract extractions, are done as an outpatient so that you can return home after surgery.
